📦 Pax Mercatura – Storage and Utility Infrastructure
This document defines the core storage and utility infrastructure used by members of Pax Mercatura. New recruits and aspiring merchants are expected to understand and acquire these assets to maximize efficiency, support guild operations, and prepare for vendor and crafting responsibilities. New members should first review this guide in full and direct any questions to their assigned leader or the appropriate Discord channels.
🥇 1. Rental Room
- Function: Provides foundational space required to place secured containers such as storage shelves, stockpiles, and personal utilities.
- Notes: Enables item lockdown. Essential for early-stage infrastructure.
- Guild Standard: All members must secure a personal space (e.g., rental room or private house) prior to requesting guild placement of tools or equipment.
🥈 2. Storage Shelf
- Function: Provides organized access to gear, reagents, tools, and loadouts.
- Requirements: Requires 120 Carpentry or acquisition from a guild crafter or vendor.
- Guild Standard: Mandatory for any member engaged in production, combat preparation, or vendor management. Members without a shelf must use designated Guild House facilities until self-sufficient.
🥉 3. Bank Deposit Safe
- Function: Enables direct deposit of gold, doubloons, checks, and Prevalia coins into a player’s bank from their rental or home.
- Usage: Supports drag-and-drop as well as “Add All in Backpack.” Balance review available on click.
- Placement: Must be locked down in a home and used by Friends, Co-Owners, or Owners.
- Guild Standard: Required for members operating with significant currency flow.
🪵 4. Resource Stockpile
- Function: Used to store raw materials such as boards, ingots, cloth, and hides in bulk.
- Placement: Must be placed in a secure rental or house.
- Guild Standard: Required for members contributing to guild quotas in Artisan or Logistics Companies. All resource deliveries must route through stockpiles.
💰 5. Strongbox Unlock Deed
- Function: Reduces the carried weight of gold and doubloons by 25%.
- Tiers: Two upgrades available. Effects apply account-wide once unlocked.
- Acquisition: Available through Societies, Arenas, Achievements, or token vendors.
- Guild Standard: Required for all members assigned to Logistics or resource transport duties.
🧾 6. Checkbook
- Function: Consolidates all bank checks into a single ledger.
- Acquisition: Can be purchased or crafted via Tinkering.
- Guild Standard: Required for members handling high-value transactions. Must be carried when performing guild treasury operations.
🌀 7. Magic Item Recycler
- Function: Converts unwanted magical items into magical essence.
- Placement: Must be secured in a rental or home.
- Guild Standard: Encouraged for all PvM players and contributors supporting crafter resource needs.
🏠 8. Player Housing
- Function: Long-term infrastructure for item storage, crafting stations, and personal vendors.
- Guild Standard: Required for members managing independent vendor locations or leading production billets. Location must be pre-approved for access and relevance to the guild network.
🧳 Storage Locker (Specialized Use Only)
- Function: Allows secure item storage within bank vaults.
- Usage: Crafters may use the Storage Locker at a bank within the currently boosted crafting region (e.g., Anchor’s Rest during Exceptional Crafting bonus weeks) to maximize exceptional yield.
- Operational Note: Especially useful for Society tasks requiring exceptional items in Tailoring, Tinkering, Alchemy, and other professions that craft directly from stored resources. Enables safe, theft-proof crafting within town limits—no housing or outdoor setup required.
- Guild Standard: Permitted for all members, but considered a lower-priority utility. Best suited for region bonus crafting or Society objectives. For general storage and production, Storage Shelves and Resource Stockpiles remain the standard.
